It seems like ages since I have been blogging, mainly because I have been really busy (thankfully). I also want to talk about products that I absolutely love and I don’t want to fall into the trap of chatting about something, just to produce content for my blog.
August has been a particularly busy month and my kit was well and truly low after last weekend. The foundation bottles have been shaken and scraped, eyeshadow palettes have hit pan and that is just the way I like it. So I had the joy of placing a big order online last weekend, with one eye closed of course looking at the cost. There were a few products I really wanted to try. I decided to pick them up and over the next few weeks I will try and test them for you all, writing reviews if they are worth it.
The first product I want to chat to you about, is one that did not need more than two days of me trialing. In fact, I could have written this blog post last night I was that impressed. The Milani Stay Put Brow Colour is one I was really keen to get my hands on. Milani is a brand I love, particularly their lipsticks (try Teddy Bare, if you like a brown toned lippie it’s my fav). So when I seen this product I thought why not give it a go. Now, I didn’t even read the description or I would have known that it comes with a brush. Usually I throw these brushes away or give them to someone else as I never like them. So yesterday I didn’t even use the brush, I used my own.
The product claims it is;
An ultra-pigmented brow hue ideal for adding striking definition and fullness.
Developed by Milani to deliver long-lasting brow perfection, the Stay Put Brow Colour is a must-have for any look. The innovative, fuss-free formula glides seamlessly throughout the hairs for a perfectly blended finish. Boasting up to sixteen hours of smudge-proof, budge-proof wear the lightweight, creamy texture offers precise definition and incredible colour pay-off for a professional finish you can’t help but love.
It is included with an angled brush and spoolie for precise application and effortless blending.
Sounds good doesn’t it?
My first thoughts were that it most definitely does glide on and it was extremely easy to work with. Prior to this I had been going between Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade and Illamasqua Brow Gel. This one was definitely easier to apply, but the others were easier when they are new as well as they tend to dry out. Throughout the day the product stayed in place and didn’t budge.
Today I decided to use the brush that came with the product and the saying ‘Don’t judge a book by it’s cover’ came to mind. The brush is amazing. The bristles are stiff and it is perfectly angled to allow precise application of the product. On the other end the spoolie is firm and strong.
After another full day and a shower, my brows are still on. This is my new favourite product for my eyebrows. I prefer gel/pomade products to pencils as I have very little eyebrow hairs at all.
So if like me you like to use a pomade style product then you can save yourself some £’s as the Brow Hue and brush are £10 which is almost £10 cheaper than Anastasia Beverly Hills and that doesn’t come with a brush!
It will definitely be interesting to see how it performs over the next few weeks and months in terms of drying out.
Keep an eye on my Instagram stories over the next few days as I am going to do a brow tutorial using these so you can all see for yourselves how good it is.
I use shade 04 Brunette as I have naturally medium brown hair and it matches me perfectly.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and hopefully it’s not too long before I’m back on again.
