It’s Wednesday again which has become my day for uploading blog posts! This week I am doing a review on the latest concealer from MAC cosmetics. When I heard about this product I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it as it claims to last ’24-hours’ as well as being lightweight. Of all the makeup products, concealer is one of the most important in my opinion. There are so many great products from brands such as Collection, Maybelline, Note cosmetics and Illamasqua to name a few.
As an avid makeup lover, I am always keen to try the latest release and add new products to my kit. As I love the Studio Fix foundation, I was really hoping to love the concealer too.
After trying it for a while now, I am absolutely obsessed. I use shade NC30, which for anyone who knows MAC shades, you may be thinking that this is as dark as the foundation. In actual fact, it is lighter than the foundation and and a shade which I am so happy with. The medium-full coverage formula brightens the under eye area and conceals any darkness .
Retailing at £18.50 it is on the more expensive side in comparison to other concealers I have reviewed before. However, the consistency as well as the fact that little goes a long way, means that you get value for money. I always want to use the best of products on my clients so I will continue to repurchase in future.
The wand makes it easy to apply to precise areas and I would recommend using very little on more mature skin types. It is lightweight so if applied correctly it wont settle into any fine lines.
The next chance I get I will show you what it looks like on my Instagram stories so that you can see how it applies. If you don’t already follow me on Instagram, my username is sarahmccaffrey_promakeupartist. You can find lots of tutorials on there in the highlights section.
*Studio Fix Concealer can be purchased from maccosmetics.com or in a MAC store.
If you try this concealer I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
